1. Providence Knob Baptist Church Marker

Inscription. Oldest Missionary Baptist Church in Warren Assoc., it was organized in Sept. 1804 with nine members. Five churches in Bowling Green and Warren Co. have formed from the parent church, including First Baptist Church of Bowling Green, 1818. Two associations formed here: Gasper River-1812; Clear Fork-1860. Present building erected in 1852. Presented by Providence Knob Baptist Church.
