1. Woodrow Wilson Junior High School Marker
Inscription. Woodrow Wilson Junior High School, Tampa's oldest surviving junior high, was started here in 1915 with 10 teachers and 259 students. Its longest serving principal, (1933-1960), Miss Pauline Bush, began the county's first school safety patrol during the 1919-1920 school year. The school was rededicated in 1987 after extensive remodeling.
 
Erected 1987 by Woodrow Wilson Junior High School Parent-Teacher Association with the cooperation of the Tampa Historical Society.
