Employee Duplexes No. 1
The duplex was burned during the Dakota War of 1862. George Olds, a farmer, surveyor, and later member of the Minnesota Legislature, bought this building in 1866 and rebuilt it to use as his family’s home. In 1974 the structure was reconstructed to its original appearance by the Minnesota Historical Society
