Inscription.  

We dedicate this plaque to all flight nurses
who with skill and courage in war and in peace
flew to all corners of the world
caring for the sick and wounded
bringing them safely home. It is also
dedicated to future flight nurses who will
lift their lamps, and spread their wings to
carry on and complete the mission
