October 9, 1952, Clemente signs with the Santurce Crabbers of the Puerto Rico League.
1954, Clemente plays for the Brooklyn Dodgers' Montreal farm team.
November 22, 1954, Clemente becomes the first draft choice of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
April 17, 1955, Clemente plays right field for the first time for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
1960 World Series, Clemente hits safely in all seven games.
1961, Clemente wins his first Batting Title with a .351 average.
1964, Clemente wins his second Batting Title with a .339 average.
1965, Clemente wins his third Batting Title with a .329 average.
1966, Clemente receives the National League Most Valuable Player Award.
1967, Clemente wins his fourth Batting Title with a .357 average.
1971 World Series, Clemente hits safely in all seven games and is named the Most Valuable Player.
September 30, 1972, Clemente collects his 3,000th hit.
