This aqueduct built by the Romans to carry water to Nimes the fountain of Eure
Repaired by the States of Languedoc MDCCII was consolidated and restored MDCCCLV by the orders of the Emperor Napoleon III and the care of the Minister of State

The marker is locate on the second arch from the left (just to the right of the tree in this picture) on the second level of arches (the pedestrian walkway).
