1. De Turk House Marker
Inscription. Built in 1767 by John de Turk, son of Isaac de Turk, a Huguenot who settled here in 1712 and was one of a number of French Protestants who were pioneers in this part of Berks County.
 
Erected 1948 by Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission.

1. Missing Marker
14 August 2021 - we scouted this whole area and used photographs that were on the database to attempt to find this marker. The marker appears to be missing. We did travel down deTurk road and found the historical house but no marker.
