1. Charles Cogswell Doe Marker
Inscription. Rollinsford was the home of Charles C. Doe. Jurist, Judge of the Supreme Court and Chief Justice from 1876-1896. Upon graduation from Dartmouth College in 1849, he studied law at Harvard. His outstanding opinions as Chief Justice indicate his unusual legal attainments and left an indelible impression on the law of New Hampshire.
