1. Edgington Mound Marker
Inscription. This burial mound was built during the time period 1000 B.C. to 400 A.D. Because the 15 foot 9 inch mound is conical shaped, it is believed to have been built by the Adenda Culture. It is 133 feet in diameter at the base. The mound received its name from a family that once owned the land where it is located. The surrounding land is a rich source of archaeological material from prehistoric times. The mound was placed on the National Register of Historic places in 1974.

Erected by Clermont County Bicentennial Commission.
