Entire structure looks like some type of stone or possibly concrete casting. (The STYLE of this Marker is very close to one in Decatur, Illinois - - which notes the First Court House in which Abraham Lincoln served.)

This frame structured Church replaced the original Church and is at the North/West Edge of Wolf Creek Cemetery.

The close style between these two markers is quite striking. Physically they so far apart (about 120 miles) yet so close in style.

Click on photo above and you will see that the Lincoln Marker was erected June 5, 1973, whereas the Wolf Creek Marker has a date of 1960. Could the Wolf Creek version have been the inspiration for the one in Decatur?
