1. Saint John Lutheran Church Marker
Inscription. Possibly the second oldest worshipping Lutheran congregation in Indiana. Known as "Hubbles Church", it was mother church to many churches in this area. Original log church stood here, 1833-1855. Brick church stood west of this site, 1855-1905. Frame church building was dedicated in 1905. Parish Hall was dedicated in 1925.
 
Location. 39° 14.059′ N, 85° 2.931′ W. Marker is near Sunman, Indiana, in Ripley County. Marker is on North Dearborn Road, on the right when traveling east. Touch for map. Marker is in this post office area: Sunman IN 47041, United States of America.
