2. Raven Hotel / Hotel zum Raben Marker - Wide View
. (English translation, follow link for original German:) It was one of the oldest inns in Schweinfurt with a very good reputation. It was supposed to have been built after the sacking of the city in 1554/1555, but at that time it had other names and bore the name "Zum Raben" from 1797 onwards....In 1908, the hotel and the Roth Bakery next to it were demolished and a new building was constructed, which still exists today in a repaired state (due to damage during bomb attacks). The structure has not functioned as an inn since 1908, when a Bavarian commercial bank moved in and a hotel was operated only on the upper floors. Today there is a bakery again on the site.
