English translation:
Here was the cemetery of the Convent of the Temple of Bethlehem. Many Spanish that died on September 28, 1810 during the siege by the insurgents of the Alhóndiga of Granaditos and the city of Guanajuato were buried here, including the Intendent Juan Antonio de Riaño y Bárcenas.
