1. Mountain View School Marker
Inscription. "Where the mountains rise in beauty" The Grand Old Mountain View State High School stood on this spot. From 1924 to 1954 some 2000 students passed through her doors. This memorial was erected in 1966 by the Mountain View Alumni Association to preserve the memories and heritage of the school and its students.
 
Erected 1996 by Mountain View Alumni Association.

This is a picture of the new Mountain View Elementary School which was completed in 2006. It replaced the old Elementary school which stood on the same spot from 1954 to 2005, location is adjacent to the marker.
