On the 15th the Division camped at Crawfish Springs, where, with Palmer's Division, it guarded the line of the Chickamauga until noon of the 18th, when it was sent to occupy this position. At 1 p.m. on the 19th it was dispatched to the left by the Lafayette Road and soon after went into action east of Brotherton's.
