Thirteen Saturn V’s were launched between Nov. 9, 1967 and May 14, 1973. All were erected in the Vehicle Assembly Building and moved vertically to the launch pad atop massive crawler transporters.

Location. 28° 31.412′ N, 80° 41.001′ W. Marker is on Merritt Island, Florida, in Brevard County. Marker can be reached from NASA Parkway West (State Road 405) east of E Avenue SW, on the right when traveling east. The marker was in the Rocket Garden on the grounds of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. It was removed after the Saturn V was moved indoors. Touch for map.
