Inscription. Site of popular watering place 1827 until early 1930's. Famed for number and excellence of mineral springs. Crab Orchard Salts, medical remedy, produced here by evaporation.

Location. 37° 28.197′ N, 84° 30.536′ W. Marker is in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, in Lincoln County. Marker is on Lancaster Street (Kentucky Route 39), on the left when traveling north. Touch for map.
