Location. 35° 0.669′ N, 85° 20.365′ W. Marker is near Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, in Hamilton County. Marker can be reached from Shingle Road north of Lookout Mountain Scenic Highway (Tennessee Route 148), on the right when traveling east. Touch for map. This historical marker is located near a cluster of Confederate historical tablets, situated in a heavily forested area, about midway between the Lookout Mountain Scenic Highway and the Cravens House. To get to this marker you must walk about 200 feet into the woods to the north of the roadway. The trailhead begins at the D & L Tablet entitled "Final Line.".
