Inscription.
Built in 1832 by Capt. James Bartlett
Master of the Barque HANNAH
in the West Indies Trade.

This is the third house on this site which was originally
the land of Samuel Fuller of the Mayflower. Captain
Bartlett’s daughter married Isaac Brewster and the house
has been the Brewster Homestead until modern times.
