in commemorating the history of the
United States of America

This farmstead and its adjacent fields
served as both subject and setting for the
painter Andrew Wyeth (1917-2009). During a
career of more than seventy-five years, Wyeth
made nearly a thousand images of the
Kuerner Farm and those who lived here.
