Corona in Queens County, New York — The American Northeast (Mid-Atlantic)
After the fair closed the pavilion became a venue for concerts featuring such groups as The Grateful Dead and Led Zeppelin. Later it was converted into a skating rink, thus the “Skate Rental” sign was not painted over in tribute to the pavilion’s post-fair uses.

Regarding Live Performances. The Grateful Dead played the New York Pavilion on July 11 and July 12, 1969. Led Zeppelin played there shortly thereafter, on August 30, 1969.
