1. The Back Door Marker
Inscription. Once wood was stacked as high as possible from the front door, loading continued through an opening in the back of the kiln. Wooden ramps that once led up to these doors disappeared long ago.
 
Erected by Targhee National Forest.
 
Location. 44° 18.693′ N, 113° 10.737′ W. Marker is near Leadore, Idaho, in Lemhi County. Marker can be reached from Forest Road 533 near Forest Road 188, on the right when traveling west. Touch for map. Marker is in this post office area: Leadore ID 83464, United States of America.
