Capt. William S. Williams.
The battery served two 6-pounder guns and four James rifles in this position from about May 25 to June 6, when one of the 6-pounder guns was moved to an advanced battery on right of Jackson Road. The other pieces were served in this position to the end of the siege, July 4, 1863. The battery fired 3521 rounds of ammunition during the siege.
