Additional comments.
1. The Fred W. Symmes Chapel
Fred W. Symmes' name is also connected to a chapel in the mountains of northern Greenville County. The Fred W. Symmes Chapel is an open-air structure with an unparallelled view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Located off Highway 276 in YMCA's Camp Greenville, the view caused the chapel to be known as "Pretty Place". It is the site for hundreds of weddings each year.
