Commodore Saltonstall's Sloops-of-War
blown up in Bangor Harbor August 1779.
Recovered August 1876.

Location. 44° 48.126′ N, 68° 46.223′ W. Marker is in Bangor, Maine, in Penobscot County. Marker is at the intersection of Hammond Street/State Street (U.S. 2) and Kenduskeag Stream, on the left on Hammond Street/State Street. Touch for map.
