Inscription. The Hood River Masonic Lodge No. 105 A.F. & A. M. was chartered in 1892 and incorporated in 1896. Five years after the Lodge incorporated, the Masons erected a new lodge hall. Named after benefactor Andrew H. Tieman, the hall was dedicated on November 11, 1901. The building was the first two-story brick building in Hood River. In 1903, the Masons added a banquet hall and commercial spaces to the Lodge. The Hood River post office rented space in the building for many years. A walk-up postal service window can still be seen on the front facade.
