Inscription.
Masonic Hall Building. The Hood River Masonic Lodge No. 105 A.F. and A. M. was chartered in 1892 and incorporated in 1896. Five years after the Lodge incorporated, the Masons erected a new lodge hall. Named after benefactor Andrew H. Tieman, the hall was dedicated on November 11, 1901. The building was the first two-story brick building in Hood River. In 1903, the Masons added a banquet hall and commercial spaces to the Lodge. The Hood River post office rented space in the building for many years. A walk-up postal service window can still be seen on the front facade.
