Inscription.
This boulder traveled more than 18,000 miles from the southernmost point of South America! Between 65 and 145 million years old, this granite stone was given to the museum by the Yagán people of Chile. The Yagán want this stone to represent their community's survival. It is one of four Cardinal Direction Markers around the museum.
