Regarding Karina Miller Nature Preserve.
Karina Miller Nature Preserve Opens at Little Mulberry Park

Lawrenceville, Ga., Sept. 13, 2006 - The 200-acre Karina Miller Nature Preserve will open on Sept. 15 as Phase II of Little Mulberry Park opens to the public. The preserve includes the steepest portion of the ridge, as well as designated areas along the lakeshore for fishing, and is home to many native Georgia plants and wildlife. Signs will be located along the trail to let people know when they are entering the preserve. The preserve is named in honor of the property's previous owners, Atlanta residents James and Karina Miller, who owned a 404-acre portion of the park, located north of Dacula, before selling the land to Gwinnett County in 2001.
