Wheaton Veterans Park
Maryland is the only state to require a specific decoration on the flagpole of the state flag. “Only a gold cross bottony may be used as an ornament on the top of the flagstaff that carries the Maryland flag.” — MD Gen Provisions Code § 7-203 (2015)
