Bishops' Prayer Garden
In 2012, the Diocese of Jackson celebrates the 175th anniversary of its founding by Pope Gregory XVI. The Bishop's Prayer Garden, located on the old catholic burial ground, is dedicated in this year to the seven deceased Bishops of Natchez who shepherded the State of Mississippi in the Roman Catholic faith.
