1. Augustus Garrett
Garrett and his wife had no children; they left their estate to found Garrett Biblical Institute. The institute merged with Chicago Training School and Evangelical Theological Seminary to form Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, the graduate school of theology at Northwestern University.
Died November 30, 1848 in Chicago.
