Powstał w 1913 r. według projektu H. Poelziga jako nowoczesna realizacja idei „przestrzeni do wynajęcia" w centrum miasta. Szkieletowa konstrukcja i horyzontalne podziały elewacji z dużą powierzchnią okien umożliwiły swobodną aranżację dobrze oświetlonych wnętrz. Na parterze pierwotnie mieściło się kino „Urania".

This building was created in 1913 according to the design of H. Poelzig as a modern implementation of the idea of "space to rent" in the city centre. The frame construction and horizontal elevation breaks with large windows made it possible to freely arrange well-lit interiors. Originally the ground floor housed the cinema "Urania".
