At this site from 1897 to 1939 the Polish cooperative institution, "The People's Bank" of Opole, was located.

This plaque was funded by the City of Opole Society on the 15th anniversary of liberation.
 
Erected 1960 by Społeczeństwo Miasta Opola.
 
Location. 50° 40.121′ N, 17° 55.127′ E. Marker is in Opole, Opole, in Opole Powiat. Marker is on Piastowska just south of Katedralna, on the right when traveling south. Touch for map. Marker is at or near this postal address: Piastowska 9, Opole 46-020, Poland.
