Chrisman is the voice of sports broadcasting for the Williamsport region. A graduate of Williamsport Area High School, he returned permanently to Williamsport in 1975 after earning a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Miami. In 1987, he was instrumental in the development of Cable Sports Productions' High School Game of the Week. Chrisman is known both locally and nationally for his play-by-play commentary of the Little League World Series, which he has broadcast since 1974.
