Inscription.
This bell rang for shift changes at Frederick Masury's Masurite Explosive Company
(1904-1911)
In 1912 it was given to the Elm Street School. When the school closed in 1951, it became the property of the Brookfield Fire Department.
The bell was restored in 2011 and placed here in 2014.
The stone base below and through out the green are from Yankee Run Grist Mill Circa-1848 and have been donated in memory of Carl Jennings from the Jennings Family
