Formó parte del Convento de Santo Domingo. Alberga al Cristo de la Expiración, escultura del siglo XVII regalada por Carlos V a la Nueva España.

Chapel of the Expiration
This chapel was part of the Convent of Santo Domingo. It houses the Christ of the Expiration, a 17th century sculpture given by Charles V to New Spain.

This view is towards the west along Calle Belisario Domínguez. The building to the right of the chapel, now a restaurant, has ghost lettering for when it was a branch of the Banco Nacional de México (National Bank of Mexico).
