This wood structure was located in East Islip on the grounds of Pineacres, the estate of Percy Williams (1857-1923) a medicine man, comedy star, land developer, vaudeville theater owner, and philanthropist. Pineacres had 48 wooded acres on the shoreline of Champlainís Creek, a large, tutor style main house and many smaller buildings on the property such as this, which had various uses.
 
Location. 40° 44.928′ N, 73° 4.116′ W. Marker is in Sayville, New York, in Suffolk County. Marker can be reached from Broadway Ave. south of Montauk Hwy, on the right when traveling south.
