1. Nally Spa Marker

Inscription. Four miles south of here stood the old Chalybeate Springs Resort Hotel featuring Sulphur Water Springs and a fresh water spring on its grounds from 1850 to 1890. The fresh water spring was renamed "Nally Spa" in 1975 to honor Union countian James P. (Jimmy) Nally.

Erected 1976 by Kentucky Historical Society, Kentucky Department of Highways. (Marker Number 1588.)

Regarding Nally Spa. I think the location of Chalybeate Springs is incorrect. The only Chalybeate springs in the immediate area of this marker is 0.9 miles West.
