La cruz que santifica este lugar fue rescatada de la incuria y el olvido en que se hallaba, en el viejo panteón de este pueblo, en la cripta familiar mandada edificar por el Sr. Juan Bautista Blanco, en 1867.

English translation:
The cross that sanctifies this place was rescued from the abandon and neglect in which it was found, in the old cemetery of this town, in the family crypt built by Juan Bautista Blanco in 1867.
