1. Schoolhouse Bell Tower Marker

Inscription. Schoolhouse Bell Tower Great thanks and appreciation to the Sons and Daughters of Italy, Joe DiMaggio Lodge #2248 for their donation of the Fishkill Plains Union Church bell cast in Troy, New York, 1881, that now hangs in our schoolhouse bell tower. We also thank Rich and Rick Taylor of Hopewell Junction for building us a fine replica of the original bell tower that stood on this building from 1826 to 1956.
In addition, a special thank you to Doug Weck of Unit Step, Carmel, NY, for donating his time and equipment to lift the tower and bell onto the roof of this schoolhouse.
