Walking through the ruins of Butrint, it is hard to imagine the different forms of the town has taken, and the differing fortunes of its inhabitants through the generations. The map here show how the settlement has changed over the past 2,500 years.

Location. 39° 44.64′ N, 20° 1.176′ E. Marker is near Kasmil, Vlorė (county), in Municipality of Sarandé. Marker can be reached from Route SH81, on the left when traveling south. Touch for map.
