"The committee on location of the Children's Museum reported that the building on the Propylaeum grounds now occupied by The Little Theater Society could be secured..."

December 6th, 1975
One-half Century ago when opened to the Public in General and Indianapolis Youngsters in particular this 1890 Carriage House & Stables acquired the honor of being the first home of THE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM.
