1. Rose Hill Marker
Inscription.  Home of Dr. Gustavus Richard Brown who lies buried here. He was a close friend of George Washington and was one of the physicians in attendance at his death.
 
Erected by State Roads Commission.
 
Location. 38° 31.32′ N, 77° 1.702′ W. Marker is in Port Tobacco, Maryland, in Charles County. Marker is at the intersection of Rosehill Road and Rose Hill Manor Place, on the right when traveling south on Rosehill Road. Touch for map.
