Inscription.  In the hey days of filming in Kanab, most of Hollywood's top performers worked here. Two stars at the height of their popularity, Ava Gardner and Howard Keel co-starred together in MGMs 1953 film "Ride, Vaquero" along with Robert Taylor and Anthony Quinn. The production was produced by Stephen Ames and directed by John Farrow.

3. Howard Keel. Harry Clifford Keel (1919–2004) was an American actor and singer with a rich bass-baritone singing voice. He starred in a number of MGM musicals in the 1950s and in the CBS television series Dallas from 1981–1991. (Submitted on March 7, 2019, by Cosmos Mariner of Cape Canaveral, Florida.) 

4. Howard Keel (Internet Movie Database). Howard Keel was the Errol Flynn and Clark Gable of "golden age" movie musicals back in the 1950s. With a barrel-chested swagger and cocky, confident air, the 6'4" brawny baritone Keel had MGM's loveliest songbirds swooning helplessly for over a decade in what were some of the finest musical films ever produced.
