Conocido como el "Mercado Viejo", este espacio guarda la tradición de antaño en donde estos puntos de reunión se encontraban los productos que servirían para alimentar a las familias chetumaleñas, la tradición marca que el hombre era el encargado de hacer las compras, ya que se tenía que acudir muy temprano para poder encontrar el mejor producto, esta tradición sigue arraigada en, la actuafidad, y encontraremos jefes de familia realizando la compra, hoy en día se puede degustar de la gastronomía regional y gran variedad de productos, la grafica muestra el antiguo mercado "Miguel Alemán" inaugurado en 1946, y el cual fue precursor de los mercados en la capital del estado.
