Regarding First Capital of the Itinerant Government. The Itinerant Government of Benito Juárez describes his efforts to move the legitimate government of Mexico as the French invaded in 1861 and gradually imposed their rule over the country. Juárez moved the government slowly towards the north, starting here in San Luis Potosí in 1863.
