Inscription. The Cadillac Building was built in 1916 as a car dealership. The building contained a first floor showroom, a second floor auto repair shop and a third floor office and living space. It was designed by Bellefonte architect Anna Keichline when she was 27 years old. She was the first woman registered as an architect in the state of Pennsylvania. The Cadillac building was damaged by fire in December 2009 and was reconstructed as an apartment building in 2016.
