Regarding LCDR John Davis. LCDR. John Davis was a U.S. Navy pilot. On 14 June 1972, LCDR Davis flying a A-7A Corsair II, was shot down over North Vietnam by a SAM missile. Originally he was designated as Missing in Action, in 1974 his status was changed to Dead, body not found.
