Inscription.  The state-wide watershed survey of fish life was begun here on Duffy Hollow Brook by the conservation department in 1926.
 
Erected 1935 by New York State Education and Conservation Departments.
 
Location. 42° 8.77′ N, 77° 52.776′ W. Marker is near Wellsville, New York, in Allegany County. Marker is at the intersection of Andover Roa (New York State Route 417) and Duffy Hollow Road, on the right when traveling east on Andover Roa.
