1. Original Location of the Paxton Congregation Marker
Inscription.  This marker is placed on the site of the original log church building erected by the Paxton Congregation about 1716. The top stones of this marker formed a part of the building supports and were excavated on this location.
 
Erected 1931 by Paxton Church Historical Society.
 
Location. 40° 15.782′ N, 76° 49.806′ W. Marker is in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in Dauphin County. Marker can be reached from Sharon Street west of Wilhelm Road, on the right when traveling west.
